"The longer I live the more beautiful life becomes. If you foolishly ignore beauty, you will soon find yourself without it. Your life will be impoverished. But if you invest in beauty, it will remain with you all the days of your life."

- Frank Lloyd Wright

About Me

I am, Sarah X. Floyd. In 2007, I  earned a Fine and Applied Arts Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she studied Urban and Regional Planning. My ultimate goal is to combine my two passions of architecture and urban planning, I strive to create architecture that is enjoyable, socially responsible and accessible to everyone.

Design Manifesto

Design is fun. I enjoy the essense of design. Whether I’m designing a pavilion or multi-level building. Seeing materials change form to create a final product is an invigorating experience. When designing a project I try to recongnize the origin, quality, and character of the community and surrounding area. I believe this encourages a greater sense of appreciation and knowledge of what my designs are made of.
